i am a gt3 addict, & i may as well weld the disc into my ps2 !. are there any old folks out also addicted ?. (im 48) or are you mostly youngsters ?. are youngsters better ? (be honest) also are there many ladies playing gt3 ? are you better?.
I'm 34 and love it too...but I'm ready for GT4 because of the AI and lack of local challengers to race against.
The women/girls who've played with me displayed a natural feel for the driving, but lacked the instinct for racing.
My problem now is...I just bought a GameShark with my sights set on the Diablo and the other hidden cars...but my GameShark blows and will only load about once every dozen tries on a GOOD day.
I'm going to post a thread asking if anyone would sell me a PS2 memory card with the cars already saved on them for a fee. Do you have the hidden cars?
Your gameshark might be dirty or the PS2 laser is dirty. You should try buying a cleaner for that. Also they have forums here where you can buy many things and you can try to request that. http://www.cdrom-guide.com/forums/ go to link to BST-Secure.com Forums and someone might have those cars on a memory card and might sell you it. Or you can go to the video game backup PS2 forum and they can help you with cleaning your gameshark cd or PS2 laser.
My sister plays from time to time, and while I've never actually raced against her (splitscreen bites big time), she regularly torches my lap times at Seattle and Trial Mountain and matches my times pretty closely on most other tracks. One of these days I'll get her to tell me how she figured out Seattle... maybe.
When were young girls like racing games and guys like shooter games and stuff but eventually it turns and we like racing lol. I was addicted to Test Drive 6 awhile ago and remembered that it was my sisters games and i always wanted to play like NFL2k or some stupid game like that.
I'll be 39 if I see my next birthday, and I love GT3.
The only women I know that play, are Lotus 350 and I believe that Tatinee plays GT2, I don't know if she has a PS2 yet.
I know for a fact that if you can beat Lotus, you are VERY fast.
RivenRebelPoet (registered, but only posted once) plays GT2. she's not great, but she's not horrible. my Dad's 50, and he plays video gaes from time to time. he'd do it more, but he owns lots of apartment complexes that take up a lot of time.
