Ok, my dad has played Age of Empires ever since it came out. He liked the first one and went nuts over the second one. He'd make it as hard as possible and then make it even harder. He's really good.
So he recently bought the third one and expected it to be great. Then he played it and said it was just plain stupid. Well, that's interesting, I thought.

Anyone else disappointed with the new Age of Empires? What are your thoughts?

It would be nice to keep have you around, but creating so many repeat threads is like an express ticket outta GTPville.
 
I wasn't disappointed at all with AOEIII. I liked it alot. Great game. I like AOEII more but III is still an awesome game. Haven't played it in awhile but I want to again because I'm getting back into the RTS thing again. Still haven't beaten the game (AOEIII) yet. I think I left off on the British campaign.
 
well i'm still playing online with my friend AoE II cause we think its better then AoE III.

So far i only played the demo of AoE III but i'll get the full version soon.
