Its supposed to release soon and I just saw the new trailer and they seem to have a nice looking game(not wipeout but good). 20 car races and over 30 tracks. The coolest part is the custom sound tracks. thats right you can use your own music while battling it out in DTM. Now if plays good this should be a decent port.
Also Colin Mcrae looks fun and should be out along with TOCA 2.

You can't get that for PSP though can you. ;)

Plus, the game to me looks like it lacks detail in some areas, like that blue Audi in the first pic for example. I think there are too many jagged lines too so it spoils it for me IMO.
 
Seeing there's no other racing game like it on psp you have to be amazed that they ported the console version on to a handheld. THUG2 was the exact same as the console version but had less detail and poeple still loved it. If it plays good it should be a hit.

Damn,I know I should've bought a PSP instead of an DAP(digital audio player).Oh well, I'll just put Gameboy games on it.Sigh.

It's not like your PSP can't play European games though is it? If it doesn't come out i'm sure you can import the damn game.
 
Every PSP can play every version of the game. It's just that you can't play WIFI on it if your friend doesn't have excactly the same version.. And the game, it looks ok. Still I'm not going to buy it. I am going to get GTA LCS and ATV Offroad Fury!

Doesn't matter the PSP is US or Japanese or what ever, the game must be the same version. So.. The UK and US version can't find each other.. Hard luck.. 👎 My PSP clan only buys US games so.. It's like a rule, buying other version, your out.. Looking forward for SOCOM on the PSP, HOC mode rules :sly:
 
And if they want a game thats not out in the US, they're out for buying it? Man thats stupid, having a general agreement o all buy the same version of a game makes sense, making it a strickt rule is stupid. If person a wants game a asap so he imports it theres nothing wrong with that, he's losing out on the multiplay.
 
Yeh, he can't play multi so he cannot join the party when we play hours and hours the same game.. We really do play 5hours non-stop WIFI..
 
I have bought DTM Race Driver 2 (or Toca 2..) yesterday. It's really a good game, but graphics are not that good though. Still, I already love to play it!

It's ok.. But I don't really use it, becaus I don't like the stick at all... Only handy for THUG2 or something..

I said that because comparing this game to other games on the PSP like Wipeout and Ridge Racer, this game doesn't look very good...
 
What must be remembered when cosidering toca though is it'd reslistiv physics, and amount of cars on track.

BTW - What's ananub? :dunce: i can't imagine playing a race sim with digital steering.

Edit, thanks La Bounti, i didn't realise psp had an analogue stick, bu no i look closer at the pics i can see it, seems to be a weird postion though, it's obviously expected to secondary to the d-pad.
