Ahead split time

When you are racing for online and you are behind someone, say you are in 6th place. Is it just me or would you like to be able to see the time of the car ahead aswell as the leader instead of just the leader of the race?
It really ruffles my feathers and was wondering if it just me đź‘Ť :)
EDIT: This was my 500th post yeyyyyy :lol:

It would be nice for GT5 to display the gap to the person ahead of you, and the gap to the leader.

It's not just you - I usually bang on about this glaring omission, given half a chance.

Same applies to the car behind you. You are not sure if the are gaining or not if the course is mixed up with lapped cars

Or they could do it NFS Shift style and put the split times for each opponent next to the driver names on the right. It would make that section have a meaningful purpose in A-Spec and seasonals, not just pointless screen-filler...

I would not mind being able to toggle pointless screen filler on or off indipendantly of the rest of the info as well. With or without meaning.
 
I would love more split info and I'd like the a-spec default to be car model rather than a made up name that means nothing to me. And then, allow me to customise which bits I have on and off. Right now I can drive with everything off, or with just without the really important info off!?! That has to have been a mistake.
