Im 89% done the game wtf, :ouch:

Why didnt you just use the proper method buy inserting both memory cards into the PS2 and copying the data using the memory card manager wich comes in the browser when u start your ps2?

The safest way to avoid corruption in my opinion, i never had a corrupt card yet :)

Sorry to hear about the loss but you said you have lost the data again? did you not learn from the previous time?

I can't believe you've done it AGAIN!

It's simple; don't remove/insert memory cards while the PS2 is on. It's just too risky.

wtf you ask?
rtfm.

Everybody's laughing and ridiculing, but not really explaining, so in case you haven't figured out why, you can't save the game from in-game to a memory card different from the one it started from. If he wants your game, restart the PS2 without a game disc, go to the browser and use that to copy the game save to another card. RTFM is because the manual says if you save to a different card, the garage is cleared. It didn't have anything to do with inserting or removing cards, you can't do a save to a card different from what the game started from.

And it happens because the game uses the memory card as a data cache to store your garage in, so it doesn't have to waste a couple megs of RAM.

I advise you get a back up device.

MaxDrive I can recomend.

Use the car left and win some races with it, then rebuy all the cars you've bought before. That's a good way to spend time...
