Anyone seen this bug before?

I'm doing the A-Spec Le Mans which I started today. All went normally for the first 3 hours. Then I did a suspend checkpoint, reloaded, and kept on going.

A short while later, I came across a car stopped in the road. I just figured he must have spun. Then I saw him again a little ways further down course next lap, still basically stopped. And again and again.

Realized he was out of fuel. And blew by him for a 4th time right before pit road, just in time to watch him go in. All well and good then.

Then I came around next lap and started down the backstretch, when what else should be puttering down the road than him again. But he just pitted, he should have fuel?

Having a lap on the field already, I decided to follow him down pit road next time the timing was perfect for it. I got in right in front of him, and watched his arrow as it went by me as I made a stop. Then watched his arrow as it kept on cruising right on through pit road, no stop.

Resuspended and reloaded, no dice, he's still dead and not stopping. So now 8 hours in, everyone has a beat to hell car from hitting this puttering landmine. And I have no idea how to fix it without restarting.

Anyone ever encounter this before? He does happen to be driving the same car as mine.

Yeah, it was all fun and games until this rain started coming down, he's practically impossible to avoid now :(

ROFLMAO! Sorry, don't mean to laugh but you just make it sound comical as hell.

I had a similar thing happen when I did this race, too. It would happen after I resumed a suspended race. One or two cars would be going slow, out of gas. They would head for the pits, come out, and still be going slow. Usually, the next time they hit pit road, they were fine, though. It would get pretty crazy swerving while running ~200 mph to avoid them at times. But overall, this only happened a couple of times, not every time I resumed a race. I have no idea what the problem was.

So I ported the save over, and looked at the replay. This guy had negative tires, they were this bizarre deep blue color. He also had negative fuel, there was a sliver of red in his tank. I tried reloaded 6 times to see if it would fix itself, with no luck. Then I tried suspending while he was on pit road at the same time, that did the trick.

i think this might be similar to this silly bug i found in the mazda enduro. less than one hr. left ai drivers begin their round of pit stops (i had been driving the touring car so i was like ridiculously far ahead & had already made 5 stops so i didnt need 2 stop) well aparently neither did the 2nd place guy. he instead descides to-get this-repeatedly smash his car into the guard rail that seperates pit road from the track. i tried to help him get moving again after lapping him 5 more times; but the idiot turns back after i straighten him out & continues his roid rage 4 another 6 laps. lol
