Aiming camera?

I see it says you L and R. Don't have those on my GT wheel I believe. Do I need to shut the wheel off and use the controller? Can't seem to get the controller to work while wheel is plugged in. All the controller will do it turn on and off the game.

You have to assign your gamepad to number 1 after the game loaded. Then it will work.

I sometimes have to go in XMB to get the controller to work, is this what you mean?
 
Just hold down the PS button on your normal controller while in game until the menu screen comes up where it says Quit Game, Reassign Controller, etc. Then reassign the controller to game port 1. After doing this you can use the controller to navigate and do things, but once you start driving in a race the wheel takes control. Kinda cool really.

Thanks for this, really useful. I had that same problem but was too tired to mess about with the controller to see what I could manage.

First post, and loving the forum by the way :)
