Alright, new member here.
I love Gran Turismo, I own a PS3 just for GT5 prologue and now the full version, as has been the case since the 1st Gran Turismo on the original playstation. I think overall, GT5 is excellent. There are a few quibbles here and there but my biggest gripe is the endless grinding required to complete the game. Im not even talking about for levelling up or earning credits.
I am lvl 40 B-Spec. I have completed all the events. I have been running sunday cup over and over for 2 days now and still haven't got my 1st bob to the peak of his career yet. Logic would dictate that at least one of your bobs would reach their peak within the entire B-Spec mode by the time you have finished all the events, especially when taking into consideration the grinding required just to get to the next level.
Trophies aren't the be all and end all, but they've put them in the game, therefore they are something I strive to achieve. I just feel that some of them are not very thought out. Its almost as if the man in charge of trophies at PD is working on a different floor to the man in charge of B-Spec mode. As I said, I love almost everything about GT5, just occasionally I end up slapping my face with head in my arms just asking why?
End of rant.
