In 2010 Airconcept (Germany) revealed at the Essen Motor Show, their super sports car designed by Manfred Scholz.
Built based upon extensive use of carbon composites for chassis, body and frame parts and powered by an rear mid mounted Audi 4.2 litre V8-Audi engine that developes between 300 to 500 KW, with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The company specialises in lightweight construction and production of composite components for aircrafts and the Lion and other car prototypes (IFL-Spyder & Black Molly) may have been created as marketing tools to show the companies capabilities.
Plans were declared to use the 5.2 litre V10 in later models, but it is not clear if this has been realised.
