It looks like I'm in with the M3. It sure would be nice if they shortened it. At the pace we ran in practice last night it will be a 6 hour event......

I too have great concerns about the length of the race.
 
Professional drivers don't run that long. Or do they? Pretty sure they switch around 2 - 3 hours of seat time.

A 2.5 hour race would be much better. 6 hours with only 3 cars in your class is a bit on the crazy side.

I agree. I like the concept but I think we should bail unless the race is shortened by at least half. We were running 2:25-2:27's. even with maybe F1 cars in the mix the race will take at least 5 hours.

This is why we need driver swaps / teams. Should happen in the near future with race games.

We can put one together with our group. 2 or 3 classes and a 2 hour race.

That would be a better idea. 2 hours and 3 classes. LMP, Super GT and maybe Roadster TC class.
 
I'm in hopes that RESH will reduce laps. 2.5 is all I would really WANT to do.
 
Ill be with you guys in spirit. But anything over 1.5 hours in GT5 is no go from me.
 
You guys seem to have issues with the race,
unfortunately I can only go 300-1000km less then that would make it to quick.

I love the idea and it was real close racing in practice last night.

Just doing some quick math the race would need to be cut down to 60 laps to hit 2.5 hours at our pace. That's 263.4 miles or 423.9 km. We can't ask you to change your race length, we're just thinking out loud.
 
I could call it Cape Ring 424km :lol:
 
BK is not down beyond 1.5. So it's a no go. Unless Dangit steps for a 2.5.
