The Bertone-designed B.A.T. ('Berlinetta Aerodinamica Tecnica') 9 was the last of the 3 initial aerodynamic styling concepts presented by Alfa Romeo from 1953-1955 (A newer BAT concept, called the BAT 11, was presented in 2008). It is based on the Alfa Romeo 1900 chassis, and produces around 90 hp. This is good enough to make this striking looking classic capable of over 110 mph.
The Abarth BAT car that we currently have on GT is a great car, both to look at and to drive, and I think that this sleek third incarnation of the BAT series would be received very well by classic car afficionados...
