A new movie filmed in Japan about D1GP pro drifting premiers today.
I'm surprised it went under the radar for anyone outside Japan or disconnected from the drifting world, but I think it looks fantastic and will become a top racing movie over the years.
Lots of work went with it, creating a replica of Naoki Nakamura's S15 car and having real D1GP drivers and cars as rivals.
It's heavily tied with Gran Turismo, since the story goes a kid wins some kind of GT tournament and gets a seat in the pro drifting series (somehow).
