Nope, just click on the event and you will be given the ticket.

European Hot hatch~ level 3 cars Ticket
Real circuit tours~ level 18 ticket
B-spec Challenge~ level 19 ticket
Super GT~ level 20 ticket

And I just completed the New Seasonal:
Stars & Stripes~ level 13 ticket
