All progress deleted

I logged into my friend's ps4 to drive to have some fun because i had more cars. While waiting for the game to load i accidentaly pressed i wanted to start my progress from the beginning. I then realised its all gone.

My driver rating and sportsmanship stayed the same (A S), but all my cars and in game progress are reset.

Is there any way for me to recover my progress?

Unless you have a USB or playstation plus save pre restart then probably not

Even that won’t help. If your client side save data doesn’t match up with PD’s, it will always be overwritten once he logs in. His only options are to move forward on a wiped account, or play offline only and make zero progress.

Yeah I had the "lose all cars bought with in game currency" bug, glitch, corrupted save whatever you want to call it and nothing was able to bring them back seeing as their server overrides everything, a big reason I don't like online only games

Nope.
Game crashed console froze, I panicked, rebooted and downloaded from cloud, rebooted game and lost all progress back to date of last cloud save.
Lost days logged on, cr, mi, kms, but the first thing game did was re gift me my last 70 odd DWG's in a row so I didn't loose any of them lol

That doesnt help. Game will still load the old save from servers. I tried it at least 20 times and game will overwrite the save data from servers.

Sounds stupid as hell but its true.
