dude, inappropriate. This is a scheduled event in GTPLMS. I don't like this, and i'd like to see it removed.
oh, I apoligize. I did not relize this was on This season's GTPLMS Schedule . I'll change it as soon as possible.

Edit: Its been changed

So we as a driver have to complete 1000km? Why not just talk to Chris and see if you can't integrate your field into his 24 Laps of Le Mans?

m.piedgros

actually, invitations have been sent out to those not competing in GTPLMS who have made large contributions to the GTP community. m.piedgros should have received his as well. I've made mine an "invitational" for those not competing in GTPLMS to make it more like the real event.

a) it's in the wrong forum...it should be in the spot-races, and i think one of the moderators will move it.

b) maybe i'm just being terratorial here, but 24 Laps du Mans was an LMS event last season, and is on the schedule this season for late-june.

I'm not trying to be a d*ck here, but ...

m.piedgros
because its gonna only include GT cars, and it has cars that are not in his series, therefore would be ineligable. ontop of that, it was an accident as I was trying to make my own Seperate event.

Hmm... I can't really say is it a good idea...
Just my opinion:

I'm sure that a hard endo like this 1000km at Le Mans is interesting, and as for me I'd like to start. Le Mans is something special for the most of the racers so this should be done this way:

1. A lot of entries. (Sorry, Camyron but, no more this family cup races with 3 drivers at the finish)

2. Full car list with different classes.
I wanna see PRO, GT1 and GT2 cars on the grid at least.

3. Equal set-ups...

4. You should give us free time. If it will be at the same time with the GTPLMS then most of the racers wouldn't start this...

So as you can see there are too many problems with it.

I can effor a good solution on this.
We don't need this event twice, but we can run 1000 km.
(I think that even a 500km is enough)

What shall we do?

Chris can change his event called "24laps" to 500km (or so) endurance. This will be still a point event to the GTPLMS. But only GTPLMS racers will recieve this points, because only they are racing for the GTPLMS title.

Also we should call others. I think some WRS racers can take part in. We can call everyone, who loves this endo.
If we can get a full entry list this should be great. So it will be a single prestigeous event for everyone on GTP, but still with points to GTPLMS racers. I'm sure this is optimal.
So far as this is a special event we need some new thing for this stage.

I ask you to clear all our HP/kg advantages for this stage. Everyone should start at the same conditions here, and bring our HP/kg directly to the next stage. We will solve problems with new entries for the Le Mans route and at the same time this will be a fair racing for everyone.

I intended to get a good amount of entries. the ones I put up are already there because since this is a GTPGTS Event(not Necessarily a Points paying race), that the original participants from the series were put in automatically, while anyone else who was interested could sign-up

as stated before, its a GTPGTS event, with the specs of the series itself, which has no prototypes. the set-ups will be set at the same. as for its scheduling, I do agree as its right in the middle of GTPLMS Season so I'll re-schedule it.

I don't think he'll change his event as its based around the 24 Hours of Le Mans(hence the name)

I will happily try and organise a 1000km Le Mans race with Prototype, GT1 and GT2 classes. It would be a completely seperate event, and would be for fun unless people wanted more 1000km races.

xjr-9

I'll try the S2000 and the M3 GTR. Most of the cars listed are still locked in my game save.

The problem is that I don't know what RACECAR and I Call Shotgun are doing. I would still need to organise the classes, who is driving what, and when everything needs to be submitted by.

xjr-9

@xjr-9: I'm organizing my event to be a GT only, 1000KM race while ICallShotgun is organising an 24 Lap, four class event.

ATTENTION

The Registration has been integrated with Qualifying and the deadline has been moved to June 17th. anyone from the entry list who will not take part of this race, post here and I will remove your name. anyone who wants to compete(anyone not in GTPGTS or GTPLMS) just post your entry here and you will be added to the list.

I have interest in this event, but I need some questions answered

- will this race be in arcade or GT mode

- how will the cars be equalized

I have interest in this event, but I need some questions answered

- how will the cars be equalized
1. it will be in arcade mode
2. The original cars will be equalized with there same specs from GTPGTS while the ones included for this race will be integrated into those specs.

RACECAR, I'm still confused a bit

- Arcade mode allows only 50 laps, which equals about 420 miles, 1000km is roughly 620 miles.

- when is qualifying and how is it accomplished?

- when exactly will this race be run?

- what do you mean by registration has been integrated with Qualifying ?

- i would appreciate a full list of the cars with weight/HP specs before I sign up with a car, or can you signup without choosing a car yet?

If I dont need to choose a car yet sign me up

1. I just got back and I do see that indeed 1000KM is not possible so I'll shorten the distance to the equevelent of 50 laps

2. Qualifying is until the 17th.

3. it will start on the 18th and end on the 24th.

4. I mean that qualifying and Registraition now both end on the same date, allowing the participant to start as soon as possible without anymore waiting
5. The Car Specs will be up. you do have an option to sign up without a car yet.

Edit: updated car specs have been posted in the first post. read carefully. I will be gone till thursday. I request that no one changes any of the rules and specifications set up.

I have returned but it looks as if no one is interested.
