I didn't do it myself but it worked in other races i completed... But i got rid of the main problem with the FF. I was using a Honda Civic type R and used the brake controler to increase the rear 6 or 8 points from the front. This made it so that the front breaks didn't wear out faster then the back. With this setting i could get closer to the max hp. I used this setting in mostly nurb because of all the quick breaking nessary. i'm not so sure with the drifferent hills in Laguna Seca will matter but there are 3 turns that will kill your tires if you over break even by a seccond. This really cuts back (not saying i am an expert or anything.)
One problem with this is that i like to let the back slide a good bit (not drift, just slide out by about a cupple of degrees.) By having the breaking up, it locks up the tires some to do this. Just letting some people who completely grip drive.
Also. Please tell me if this works for only me just because of my driving style. My brother tried it and he found that it just made him slide off the road, over break on long turns. (and in some other cars, not break enough in the front so that the back spun the car out.?)

The Saleen pits on lap 22/24
the Ford GT pits on 16/19

Anybody try the second lineup?
'03 Viper SRT-10
'99 Viper GTS
'02 ZO6
'02 Calloway
'02 GTO

I'm running a Dodge SRT-4, at 439hp, fully loaded, (downforce 30/15) with stage 2 turbo, for better low-rpm torque, and using 3rd gear leaving corners.

I'm currently on lap 26, with myself having pit 3 times, and the opposition pitted once, and I have a 33 second lead.
So far it looks like it's in the bag.

I've also found R2's to be faster than R1's, despite lasting only 6 laps, vs. 9.

After this, I will try against the Saleen and GT

good luck!

Yes, if you enter the race then finish the race and start again you will compete with cars with less power(the second lineup) and you can go slower and win, the idea is to take the race against the Saleen and GT where you need an average of less than 1'29" per lap, I'll put this as a rule in the thread, anyway good luck with the SRT!

AngelCreator and Ithiele, thanks:tup: , I have my fotos in the cell phone I'll try to obtain the interface this week to put them in the thread..
