Notes -

Krohn-Barbour Lambourghini was withdrawn.

Krohn-Barbour (rather the Lamborghini program) has at least two problems. 1. Simulations showed that the V12 may not have the potential to be fully competitive in ACO with current restrictor rules, and 2. the Lamborghini program went ahead without the recommendation of Audi Sport, causing some "heartburn" in the corporation.

This is in addition to a number of other issues, including steel brakes, steel rotors, inadequate suspension (caused the withdrawl at Mosport). They are also not receiving the level of support that they "expected" from Audi Sport. Perhaps this is to be expected though, given Audi Sport did not give the go ahead, and have suggested that they would not have, had they been asked.

Risi Ferrari 360GTC

No entry at Road America. Their budget is extremely limited, and they can't afford to go. :( They should be back for Petite Lemans though.

Miracle Motorsports LMP2 program

Miracle has purchased one of the Courage C65's, and will debut it at Road America. They will be using the very quick AER turbo motor. This chassis is very quick, state of the art LMP2. Let's hope for some reliability. Miracle will continue to race Lola. {note - that would be an addition to the LMP2 field, not yet showing up on the entry}

Other "news"

* Another Courage C65 is expecting to debut at Petite LeMans.
* Lister Storm LMP1 hopes to race at Petite LeMans & Laguna Seca... assuming they find a budget
* Luccini LMP2 to run at Laguna Seca
* There are also suggestions that the very quick Zytek chassis will run at both Petite LeMans and Laguna Seca.
