i recently enter a few competitions on another message board i am apart of and i can't believe the GT4 photos that are winning. do these people just have bad taste or am i just crazy!

i am really unhappy about the first example. i figure i ask you guys since you all are the bst on the net in my opinion!
 
1st example should've won, at least in my books.

2nd example owns your entry.


But it's all up to personal taste.

I agree with Duck. Just look at it dude, its awesome.

Not all great pictures are ones of cars moving. Remember that. Sometimes a car's beauty shows standing still.

The first example, yeah your right your entry is better.
 
not everybody has the same style and not everyone loves the same style to watch to but you bring speed into your pics i like that
 
ok ok....i see what your saying! i only lost to that on by like 2 votes. but the first one just makes me mad. i could take that pic in like 5 seconds.

And to be perfectly honest, none of these 4 pictures is really my "thing" :scared: , so I probably would have voted for a totally different pic. Does that mean I have bad taste?

no.....i see what you are saying.
 
I had the same feelings as you do when I started in the competitions! I always thought that my entries were very good! When I didn't get into polls I was mad at the one that didn't choose my pic for the poll! As others said taste is one big thing which is very different from user to user. You'll see that more experience will really help you to get into polls and even win them...

As for your pictures:
1. Your Jaguar pic is nice (poll worthy) but not a winner! It doesn't have that certain eycatching thing! The corvette is an eyecatcher to my eyes... You can really feel the power of that car in this shot! As for your pic this isn't the case.

2.Well your pic is way to dark...(end of discussion)! The F1 car isn't my taste either but it's brighter and very clean (look at the nose)!

Just one advice! Don't give up and remember that it's just for fun! :)

i am also on acecombat.net we have a small following over there but my main gt4 place is now here. the last competition just pushed me over the edge.
