No offence, but it would be easier to help you, if you would explain your issues with proper grammar.

I'm going to try...

When you win an event, you gain Experience points. These make you level up. You can get these points from A Spec races, special events, licenses and seasonal events. To complete the game you must win every A Spec race, gold every license and win every special event. Seasonal events are an optional extra added to the game after release, they have huge payouts which can help you level up and get better cars sooner.

B Spec is for the most part, optional (unless you want platinum). It is very handy for earning money without having to do anything and with most races you can just walk away and leave bob (the forum's name for a B Spec driver) to do his thing.

ok
i am playing gt5 for about 2 weeks and i have completed some races in A SPEC and come to level 18 than my friend told me that i can go and do B spec races as he claims doing all the a spec races is just a mistake that all new players do he claims that i dont need to complete them all.
anyway i am doing b spec races now my questions is
is this gt5 game all about a and b spec races than you are done throw the cd away
i have been told that this game is long and time consuming

SO HOW DOES IT WORK DO U HAVE TO COME TO CERTAIN LEVEL IN THOSE SPEC RACES THAN ANOTHER LEVEL COMES OR WHAT HOW DOES IT WORK ???

GTAce thans for your reply i hope u can understand my problem here now.

Do B spec for money, experience and most of all price cars
A spec for the same reasons above and to test your driving skills
seasonal events for money and experience
and most of all go ONLINE! Thats the place where propper driving starts!
(if you got the skills and right opponents)

ps.
stop shouting and use grammar..

You play the game the way you want to play the game. There is no right or wrong way.
By doing Aspec you gain experience and each event gives you a prize car,xp and money.
By doing Bspec your driver gains experience,xp and you get the money and prize cars. Bpsec gives different prize cars to Aspec.

Seasonals are a bonus and you can earn easy money and xp, plus you get helmets and suits etc.

The game is there for you to play the way you want.

When you feel like it you can go online and the game is never ending!

Enjoy and happy holidays.

It's not really a game with a beginning and an end really. Even though it has events you can complete, it doesn't have a story or any overall closure. It's a driving simulator for people who like to drive and experience driving using different vehicles and is not a "game" in the general sense of the word. Just enjoy it for the fun of racing and driving in whatever way you see fit to entertain you. You will advance as you do.

Pick a car and race. Nothing else to it.

In order to consider the game complete, most people would say you need to get the platinum trophy handed out by Playstation. In order to do this you must complete all the A Spec events, B Spec events, Special Events. You must also get all the trophys available including the hidden ones. You must also get a gold trophy in all the Spec races and all the Special Event races. And yes, as you increase your level, higher events will unlock. For instance, when you reach level 40, the 24 hours of Nurburgring race becomes available.

Along the way you must collect 1000 cars in your garage, and raise a B Spec driver to the pinacle of his career (about 500 races). These two requirements alone take most people at least a year or more to accomplish. Most don't bother to try to complete the game, they get 1/2 to 3/4 through and then just drive online or race the seasonals or do both with an occaisional foray into completing one of the required events.

I don't know the exact count, but I would venture to guess that out of the 10,000,000 copys sold only a handfull of people have actually reached the 100% complete mark.

Doing A-Spec is not a mistake.

No it is not all about A and B-Spec races, it is about racing. I have done the same A-Spec races many times because i enjoy them, and i do alot of Arcade races which have no benefit to completing the game but can give better races than A-Spec.
As long as you like playing the game keep doing so.

I am nowhere near completion yet have played for about 6 months.

As your A-Spec level increases more A-Spec races become available, As your B-Spec level increases more B-Spec races become available. Also cars will be unlocked for purchase as either level increases (eg:NASCARS at level 21)

Play Gran Turismo 5 however you want just have fun.

My advice is to get bspec high enough to do the roadster cup, you will win the Mazda furai

My advice:

Do all the license tests first! It won't get you a lot of money, but you will be glad you dealt with them early on.

You don't have to gold them all, but completing them will get you a decent set of cars to start playing with at zero cost to you.

When I got frustrated dealing with licenses:banghead:, I would jump to A-Spec for a quick race and some easy cash! :)

Remember those 1-Lap Guide Runs from GT4? Trying to get gold on them was so difficult haha!

Pretend your in a bar, With Six pints in you and hes directly in front of you.
It will make perfect sense then.

No, you can cease from playing GT5 whenever you got discouraged or tired of the content of the game as it's all up to your arbitrary discretion whether you play it or not. Whatever thing you say or quarrel about the estimated quality of the game, those remarks don't affect the value of the game or shouldn't have any influences on it, time for you to drop out.

And you're wrong in having doubts that GT5 only consists of prosaic stuff that sound boring and time consuming to you... it actually has quite amazing features including improved graphics and so on.

If you have never played Gran Turismo before then you should start with the License tests and learn how to drive properly. This game has a learn curve that starts with braking and then learning how to drive a proper line. The game is not difficult at all once you learn how to race. This game is not an arcade game, it is racing simulator.

Indeed... Please not the O.P. is from Croydon, UK. This basically is proper grammar. :) (born in the U.K. myself)

On topic: Play however you want, I use the seasonal events as a free money machine and It will level you up quicker than A spec.
