Am I the only non-premo member living ad-free?

Well I know I have way over 500 posts, and been here for over 90 days, and I still can't change my user title. I want to change my user title to "I blame turbo lag", because he made this avatar, but for some reason I can't. :confused:

Anyone knows what's wrong? :scared:

Are you making sure that you hit the save changes button?

Other than that i have no idea what could be going wrong

Why do you keep reffering to me? :nervous: Are you sure your not checking the reset button?

IT happened to me aswell. I had to wait until I had 1000 posts. I don't know if it's a glitch, or Jordan changed it but forgot to mention it or what. All I know is I couldn't change it at 500 and had to wait.

You may well have been here for over 90 days, but racerx510 has only been here for 2 and a bit months. It may well be something to do with that.

Oh, does that mean that you have to be online during those 90 days, then only you can change your title. Iirc, racerx510 did went on a holiday back in August..... so maybe thats why he didn't get to change his user title....isn't it?
 
Sorry, there was a bit of misconfiguration in the user promotions system that prevented a very small number of users from being automatically moved into a new user group once they met the qualifications. You should be able to set it now.

No. The person who is now RacerX510 has been here more than 90 days... but, as daan mentioned, that account itself is less than 90 days old.

I have been sent the mail, but it has never got through, what is wrong with the US Postal Service? First they stripped a USB from a mail going to me and now this. :grumpy: Well the mail does go through alot of peoples hands, guess you can't trust anyone these days.

Well, you're still getting the google ads and the spaces where the ad should be (premies get a reduced gap between header and forum). But the most important question is, why are you complaining? :dopey:

The top has been blank + GTP is loading quicker too. :D

It's well past its due date, but for some reason, I got it after 89 days.

Lucky, I guess. But it's irrelevant because today is my 90th day here.

I was about to ask the same.

Responding to the recycling, I too have lived ad-free. For about the first 17 days. Then things got ugly.
 
Before I bought premium I still never had a problem with ads on GTPlanet. Just run Firefox and it'll take care of the rest, especially if your settings are all set to block.
