Seriously, 8/10 online drift sessions I see are on Tsukuba, and in my honest opinion, it is one of the worst circuits for drift in the game! The corners do not flow one bit, the only corners most drift are the hairpins (which is only a small part of drifting) and it is near impossible for heavy or large vehicles to drift it...

Does anybody else share this passion?

I am getting a bit sick of the track with everyone using it.

I just had a good run on Suzuka East Course with 2 other drifters. I was using my S13 with a new tune and was actually linking most of my drifts for once :D

At first I hated it, because it was very difficult for me to drift around it. Once I got better at drifting, I love it now and am able to drift every corner. If you look carefully there is 2 separate sections that can be linked into a few chains that I have found.

That track is great. If you practice and with the right setup you can literally keep your tires spinning the whole track. One enormous drift!

every drift room is tsukuba. i mean it's cool or whatever, but damn.

whenever i start a room it's autumn ring mini. small course, but a lot of fun when there's 16 people on the track. it's sort of encouraging tandeming, since most people just drift by themselves, and with a tiny course you're bound to be next to someone.

I started to hate tsukuba when I first started to learn to drift. I'm now starting to get the hang of it and have even started to try and tandem on it. Still failing at times but its a lot of fun.

I do agree that it is used far too much, other tracks like Suzuka east, Grand valley speedway are just as challenging and as much fun.

I don't drive it regularly, but when I do my aristo does just fine. I stay on the track and I link the small straight after the s-turns with the following turn.

Practice bro 👍

honestly im tired of the track but its not because its a bad track i have been doin that track since forza 1 and even in that game i got tired of it. But i will say this that the track is a wonderful drift track but it gets old real quick for me.

Whenever I'm running a drift room I NEVER run Tsukuba. It's boring as hell and is basically just a series of haiprins with two mediocre other corners thrown in along with an almost non-existant chicane. Now Cape North.... THAT'S a challenge, there's nothing quite as satisfying as holding 6th gear all the way round the spiral bridge in a 400bhp S-body.

I don't love Tsukuba, but I wouldn't say I hate it. It's a good intermediate practice track because it's low speed and you get a lot of corners without having to cruise through long straights to get at them. There's a fun link into the second hairpin, and you can link the sweeper after that down to the last hairpin if you're good enough (I'm not). The last turn is kind of fun once you figure it out too.

If Tsukuba was a poor circuit for drifting, D1 wouldnt have ran events there. I love that track, but prefer Tsukuba short layout, backwards.

At first I didn't like Tsukuba, but now I love it. it teaches you low speed control. That first wide hairpin can be used for high angle, high speed entry practice.. The first S turn is a great spot to learn how to scrub speed during slides and transitions. The final turn is a good spot to learn how to keep slides in check during a sweeper, too. I wouldn't want to learn how to maintain a long drift on cape ring's huge donut.

And when you go off course, you don't have to spend 2minutes sandbaggin through the grass just to get back on :)

Errrr, no actually, they USED TO run events there when they were relatively small, now they have the clout to use bigger tracks which work for drifting. Tsukuba was only really used when there were still a fair few low powered cars.

That said, D1 is still just a show, it has more in common with WWF than real motorsport. If you want to emulate proper competitions, look towards the Formula D or JDM AllStars models :)

Tsukuba!!! haha i want Seattle Circuit. That's my favorite track for drifting. wish they had Ebisu in the game. oh yeah Tsukuba!!!

Hey don't hate on Honda's yuh better recognotice!

Watch the attitude. You're no better with the typical AE86 avatar you drifters love to use.

Keep the flaming to a minimum boys! Please don't turn this thread into a "My penis is bigger than your penis" thread!

Back on topic: When I was referring to heavy or large vehicles, I'm referring to my Dodge Superbee or Honda Odyssey...

Hondas are ****.

They are better than anything you will ever own.

Honda's and **** should never be in the same sentence you ignortant fool. Great way to show the world you know absolutely nothing about cars at all in the slightest.
