Am I wrong?

Am I wrong? I own the first GT game and played it and beat it. Then GT2 came out. I couldnt come up with $40 at the time so i waited. Then GT3 on PS2 came out. I skipped GT2 and went to GT3. Am i wrong for doing that?

I dont think so, GT3 is basically GT2 cept 4 3 added tracks, Monaco, Toyko and Complex String plus most of the crap cars from GT2 have been takin out 4 GT3, bout 300 of um.

VERY DIFFERENT!!!!!!!! I compare GT2 to GT1 graphic wise when GT3 is in the mix.

Actually, you are lucky you didn't play 2. It had like 600 cars in it, and going from 600 to 180 would have been a shock (alot of people were really unhappy here early on.)
I'd pick it up though, it's only 20 now (greatest hits) It's got great tracks that aren't in 3 either.

Its a toss up.... I love both of them.... There is way more in GT2 then 3, but the graphics are so much better then 2... sooooo its a matter of choice... I don't think I could miss any of the series!!! I bought ps2 cause of GT3...

thats a big reason i got a PS2 is because of GT3. Plus it really makes your friends jealous like crazy and then the WHOLE school wants to go to your house!
