:confused: On the Amateur League Races what kind of car do you need to beat some of the AI cars? I have a Alteeza RS200 with around 375 HP and I can't even catch up with some of the cars. Like in the Turbo Sports races on the Test Track all the cars there run off and leave me sitting there. I guess I just need a better car. :eek:
 
also, on the test track, it helps if u have a racing transmission. then u can make the "auto setup" gear wider (which gives you greater top speed, but less accel.)

try the corvette z06, zonda c12s, or even something like a fully modded skyline or rx-7. the zonda c12s is a pretty solid car, if u can fork over the coin.
 
I used the ZO6. It has great acceleration and top speed. Plus it has excellent handling. I put over 1000miles on mine so it can do most of the races. And for the money it's a great choice.
 
I used an RX-7 and an Evo VII for lots of the amateur races. That was probably my second and third cars I ever bought. Good luck. You will find a good car, it isn't that hard to find one.
 
I used a TVR Speed 6 for most of the amatuer races. ;)
 
I used a Tuscan speed 6 :D :D :D :D :D its a great car mine has over 600hp i think
 
You can take the Miata and completely mod it up. Use it to win enuff cash to buy the Mustang SVT or Lancer EVO 6 or 7. Keep winning in the amatuer races until you have enough cr to mod the SVT or the Mitsu up to about 550 hp with a full race tranny. Now you can win the last series (GT World championship) in Beginner 2 laps a race, 10 races 10,000 cr plus a bonus of 50,000 and one of four cars.
From here run the Euro Champ series. If you win the Gillet Vertigo, Or the Camaro LM in the American Champ series you're set, if not re-run the series until you get it (and win some cash along the way), From there mod up the Camaro or Gillet. Win the Dream cars series at the end of Amateur. Any car you win here will kick a**.(LM S2000, LM Impreza, LM FTO, or LM RX-7)They are lightweight and can be modded up over 900 hp.
