Ahhhh, yes. I love muscle cars, domestic 4 bangers, pretty much all that uncle SAM puts out, I can tolerate.
When I first had my drift car list two of the cars were Chevy's all I did was throw on some sims, bump up the camber on the front, zero out the camber in the rear and apply a little more UMPH to the power band then went at it.
The Camaro SS drifts very lovely with only a modified drivetrain and sims.
I find that the Corvette ZO6 needs a little more horsepower, around 530 is what I had.
The C5R is still my favorite American drift car because of it's LSD. It's soooo perfect. All I did was throw on some sims and take it out.
The Viper needed a little more work, drivetrain and engine mods were a neccesity and it definately takes a lot to break it free, I'd say around 600hp. But it's such a great driver that why would you want to mess it up by making it a drift car??? It's fun to drift, don't get me wrong, but driving it is like controlling a dragon. Just plain liberating. AND, ooh ooh, you don't even need to get a LSD because it drifts well with the stock open end.
WOW!
My real life Camaro has the same weight balance as a Toyota Supra so it's lovely to take that thing sideways, but, that's only for purposes of showing off.
