What is it like? apart from being boring

standard online shooter.every part of the game from weapons to goggles are just as they are in the military's real life counterpart.

you get training everything from medical training, jumping out of a plane to sniper marksmenship{no driving yet}

you even have to listen to instructors and then take tests,if you pass you get the"license"{aka patch} and it's gets stitched into your permant jacket.if you don't,you gotta listen to the whole thing over again.that's the first thing i hate about the game.

the second thing the netcode IMO needs some work.

Its improved version 2 is out, training is boring but the actually game is good.

I hate the way the M16 is modeled in the game, very poor accuracy. It ruined the game for me since long range maps became difficult and frustrating. Good graphics though.

i must say its not a bad game considering its free.
the graphics are definatly up to standard and although online play needs a bit of work, I would recomend people to at least try it.
The training is a bit boring but then the idea of the game is clearly to get people to join the US army so i expected it to be like that (more informative than fun).

The game is supposed to be uber-realistic so like in real life the guns are no where near as accurate as you'd expect.

Well I play americas army. It's a pretty cool game. I like it a lot.

Yeah I started playing more when I got AA 2 also known as special forces but got so ****ed off when I completed the training mode and logged in at the end as ENTERUSERNAMEHERE.

The training took 3 hour straight of complete boredom.

I tried it once. Its the one where you creep through the enemy camp at night and you can't get spotted at all.

It took me a while to notice this but you can never actually play as anyone other than the us army. The other team looks like terrorists but to them they are the us army too and you look like the terrorist guys to them.
