[Specific Questions Answered]
How did you find GTPlanet?
- Answer: I came across it as an adolescent in middle school, at the local library researching ways to earn credits faster on GT3.
Where are you from?
- Answer: North N.J., North America
When did you start playing Gran Turismo Games?
- Answer: When I was in elementary school (I think 3rd grade), I'd go over to my cousin's friend's house; play GT3 with him and his friend.
Do you play with a steering wheel?
- Answer: I do on occasion, but primary I'll use my DS3 (Dual Shock 3) controller. Or 'pad' as many individuals within the gaming community call it.
What other games do you enjoy?
- Answer: I enjoy: Action & Adventure games (e.g. Ninja Gaiden franchise), Classics (e.g. PAC-MAN games, Super Mario Bros. styled games, Tetris, etc.), FPS games (although to be honest, after experiences with the Battlefield and Call of Duty franchise -- FPS games are losing their appeal to me, MMORPGs (e.g. World of Warcraft), Racing Games (e.g. GT5, NFS franchise, etc.), and RPGs (e.g. Pokémon franchise, Xenosaga franchise, .hack// games, etc.).
What are you most looking forward to doing in the community, now that you're a part of this site?
- Answer: Taking my driving to the 'next' level, per say. I'm tired of being just another driver feeling as though he's being blocked from ascending to the next level. I'm tired of: Careless, dirty, and sloppy drivers; 'faux-teams'. I want to ascend, and I want to be amongst positivity. Not just people who throw aimless insults around in "Open Lobby"-based lounges, and make silly claims (e.g. "Using a wheel is a handicap!", "You suck at drifting, lol! More like ChampionPoser!", "Only underground drifters are pros, serious drivers are lamers with no lives. Cry babies!" Yes, I'm tired of 'those' types of individuals. I want to be around positivity and success, as well as those whom wish to be amongst it; accept it themselves. In laymen's terms, I want a serious driver's environment amongst me. An atmosphere not of blatant cries of a behavior-lacking adolescent / young adult, but rather people whom wish to succeed; watch others do so. I understand people aren't perfect, but what I experienced a few moments / hours ago was plain nauseating.
Hello, and pleasure to meet everyone. I am Trevor, but my friends in-game like to call me 'Champ'. I've known about the Gran Turismo Planet community since the days of GT3, but haven't truly gotten around to making an account. Time and time again, I'd come to this welcoming community for set-ups regarding certain cars (e.g. Ferrari Enzo, Ferrari 458 Italia, FGT (Formula Gran Turismo), etc.); figured that now is the best time ever to join.
Below will be a view specific notes about myself, that will answer a few things mentioned about what should be included in the "Introduce Yourself!" section. As well as, a few things extra about myself that I feel as though I should include.
