Hey guys, I haven't been around very often at all online lately, so I thought I should eventually give an explanation on the situation at hand. I recently (last Tuesday) got kicked out of home, and some very hurtful things were said following this. I've tried hard to reconcile things with my parents, as I know that if I just go back now, this will definitely happen again. After a week of long arguments, it seems as if they aren't even interested coming to see me to work things out, and my mother and I aren't on speaking terms, considering the things she has said during this.

But I'm not here to rant. I've been living with my beautiful, beautiful girlfriend Ahmie and her mother who has done more than enough to help out and even attempted to make a meeting between me and my Dad, and possibly my Mum. It's not wrorking out at all with my parents, and we've all basically come to the conclusion that I'll be staying with Ahmie for good. I can claim Youth Allowance and Rent Assistance, plus I have a steady job and around $700 on me already, so financially I should be fine, as well as physically. Mentally I'm coming to terms with things, even though it seems they're intentionally turning my friends away from me through my friends' parents, but these things can be resolved in time.

Now I won't be very active online. I'll try to check in from time to time, but my life has suddenly become very busy than usual, and the internet is nowhere near a priority at the moment, but you might see me here from time to time, posting from Blake's, Ahmie's, Ahmie's Mum's Boyfriend's place (which is where I am now), Schoolm etc. Whenever I get a chance on the internet, I'll make this place top priority, as GTP and it's people have given me a lot.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time out to listen, and I hope you all lead enjoyable, successful lives. Make the most of what you have.

Jimmy.

I left home at an early age too. It's scarry at first, then it's awesome!

Don't worry, you can handle it. 👍

Hang in there man. Atleast you had somewhere you could go, you should be thankful for that. Things will work out man, you'll make it through. 👍

someones been listening to too much Van Halen...
That describes me perfectly!

But seriously, DLR and even Sammy could spit out some pretty damn good lyrics from time to time. You'd be surprised how inspirational some of their songs are to me!

Good luck Matt, at least you can drive now so your go alot of freedom.

You are one of my favorite mods, so this sucks. :indiff: Good luck with everything. I hope you can work things out with your parents. :)

Sorry to hear that Matt :(.

Im sure in time you will get your life back to how you like it, whether you move into a flat with your g/f or continue staying where you are.

Its a bummer about your parents, but you seem to have lots of support else where so you will be fine mate.

Damn, I never thought something like this could happen to ya. Well, good luck for the future.

Sounds like you still have a handle on things Jimmy 👍 ... Back in the days, me and my old man had our share of.. ahem.. run ins... Well - Getting out of the house and not being in each others way each and every day did a lot of good, and has turned him from somewhat an enemy to my biggest idol !... Hard to realise when you're young - but give it time !....

Good luck man - appreciate what you have and hang in there !....

Good luck, Jimmy. Sounds like you've got a Plan B going. We're here to help, or just listen anyway, so check in when you can.

Well, we all have to move out sometime. Sometimes things don't work out the way you planned. At least you have a place to stay. Maybe things were meant to be this way. Your parents may not have been fit to raise you. I have a friend who has parents (adopted parents) like that. He wants to get emancipated and live with his girlfriend, but he just can't go through with it.
