Hello fellow GTPlanet Members. I am here right now to share this idea of mine which has been going through my head for quite a while. Now, as many of you may know, one of the unique things about Gran Turismo 5 is the Red Bull X1. An imaginary, but believable, futaristic formula 1 car which can clock over 500km/h with the right tuning. At Level 30, you unlock a special event which involves you doing time trials with the X1 on various tracks. And due to it's difficulty, even the most veteran GT players went insane trying to get gold.
After ragequitting over that said challenge, this idea formed in my head. If the Formula GT gets it's own championship, I thought "Why not the X1?" In my opinion, it would be just awesome to have an event dedicated to the X1.
Enough prologue backstory stuff. Time to get into detail.
First, the basic event infomation

The Actual Event
Each race in the X1 Tournament is a race to test your endurance when piloting these beasts. Where one little mistake can cost you the race itself. Each track in the Tournament is chosen for it's technical layout, it's speed and it's enviroment. Pushing the driver to his limit. The order of the events follow a pattern. The tournament starts in Japan, then goes to Europe, then it goes to America and finally returns to Europe for the finalie at "The Ring"
The formula for the race length is 500 / Track Distance (km) and rounds off to the next multiple of 5. Not the nearest, the next! A system vaugely similar on Formula 1 races

So now to wrap things up. This idea is dedicated to paying homage to the FGT event in Gran Turismo 4 as well as the Red Bull X1. Doing all 15 events back to back would probaly take you well over 12 hours. Covering a total of 7761km worth of ashpalt.
A Note Relating To The X2011
Now, before you hating, please bear in mind I am well aware there is an updated model of the X1. But why did I base this championship on the outdated model and not the newer one? I had my reasons. I list them as:
Perhaps this idea could be some new DLC (+ X2011 at no extra cost) we don't know. But I based this idea on the original X1 long before DLC and I wasn't in the mood to make any changes.
So thats my idea. Tell me what you think. Feel free to make suggestions and such. And please, keep the critisism civil and constructive

Now, before you hating, please bear in mind I am well aware there is an updated model of the X1. But why did I base this championship on the outdated model and not the newer one? I had my reasons. I list them as:
- Not everybody can afford the Car DLC
- So this could become a part of offline, single player
- I had this idea way before DLC was introduced
Perhaps this idea could be some new DLC (+ X2011 at no extra cost) we don't know. But I based this idea on the original X1 long before DLC and I wasn't in the mood to make any changes.
So thats my idea. Tell me what you think. Feel free to make suggestions and such. And please, keep the critisism civil and constructive
