I have an idea on a better way to trade cars and items so that nobody can be scammed.
Here is how it works person #1 puts in what car or item he wants to trade and then send it to person#2 then #2 can see all the info on the car or item. #2 then can accept the trade and add the car or item for the trade. Then it goes back to #1 and he can see all the info on the car or item and he can then accept the trade or not. And everyone gets what they want and nobody can be scammed.

Do you mean scammed? As I interpret what you wrote, this would not prevent scamming, as the way the game works, you still have to send something first.

What we need is a true trading screen, like in Pokemon, for example. Where both proposed trade items have to be approved by both parties at the same time, before anything is actually transferred. Unless that is what you meant. I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, so I might have misread what you wrote. ;)

Aside from that, with the current method of backing up your save game before sending a car/items, etc., then restoring the save after sending (thus, having unlimited items), the only thing one can get scammed out of these days is a "trade day", given the one car/5 items per day trade limit. 👍

The system as it is now, was never really intended as a trading system, but was meant as a gifting system. We turned it into a trading system.

Fixed scammed. Yes that it what I mean trading screen but both people don't have to be online but during the trade car or item will be removed.

I think it would be a good idea, it reminds me of back when I used to play Runescape and two people had to put up an item in the trade box and both had to accept. I hope PD will implement a trading feature in GT6 but you never know what they're going to do.

I think it would be nice if people were just honest!!!:indiff:

I have no problem giving gifts, relaying that I get something back. If the oposite dont, I'll just not thrust him again. And after all, it's just a game.

But I'll kill for a decnt setup for my GT390, and NSX LM Roadcar:guilty:

I said this back in the beginning...I can't believe in this day and age where honour and respect and honesty are often rare commodities, that GT5 would have a trading system where you are completely dependent on the honesty of one person who is usually a complete stranger. Everything should either go to a mutual garage area for viewing and awaiting joint approval of the deal before the trade is complete which would make a nice visual, or the car could be sent to you and you can accept it but the trade is null and void if the other person doesn't accept your car within a certain time period, like 24 to 48 hours. Surely this isn't millions of dollars of programming.
