Just a moment ago I was reading autoblog when I saw an interesting entry:

http://www.autoblog.com/2011/09/07/automation-will-let-you-build-the-car-of-your-dreams-virtuall/

It's about a PC Game called Automation ( I never heard about it before) than put you on the shoes of a Car manufacturer's Boss and you have to grow up your company. The interesting thing here is that you have to create and design your own car.

I know than this kind of projects are ambicious and harder to implement enterely in a game as Gran Turismo, but I think than maybe a concept as RUF/Porsche it could fit for future GT Games : Take the chassis and a body from any car manufacturer and be able to implement thinks like the engine, transmission, etc; under our own specs and likes, and then name it under our own brand. (Imagine using a Civic EK Body and put under the hood a V8 Engine, etc)

I know this could bring some issues about trademarks with the manufacturers in the game, but knowing the good relationship of Kaz and PD with some of them I think it coul be real.

What do you think?

I would totally make a suzuki swift or something with a v12 formula 1 engine and tranny (RWD of course )where the back seats should be. With an air intake sticking out of the roof. I think it would be awesome to look back and see a beautiful F1 V12 siting as your passenger
So that people would be mind****** when they hear/see it roll by.

That sound:dopey:

And can you drive your completed creations in that game?
If i can im definitely getting it

That'd be a great idea like that, not to mention if you could 'sell' your cars to other players. Imagine being able to build your own race cars from normal road car shells

I like to have an actual racing team.
B spec where you have more then 1 driver/car in a race at once. Manage both drivers for stuff like blocking, drafting, etc.
