...everything is still the same. Loeb won and Ford in 2nd, but here was Miko Hirvonen taking his Focus to 2nd!.
Marcus hit trouble again, retiring in the 2nd leg without engine oil after hitting a rock. Petter was fast but hampered by many problems during the weekend could not score anything (the same for Chris).
31 ponts lead in the drivers champ for Loeb. We're almost half-season now and he looks strong as always, with the rest lagging WAY behind...
Those for the BIG names.

Now the rest of the field was a surprise. Dani Sordo 3rd, Xavi Pons 4th, 5th for VÄLIMÄKI <now thats hard to write. Many names showing up this year, next years' driver market promises to be very interesting.

thats it folks... comments in the rally or this season so far, i'd like to discuss! Even F1 is looking more interesting than rally lately...
 
I'll take a flaming from the Loeb fans now, but whatever...

One thing that really bugs me is the incredible luck of the Frenchman. In the Sardinian rally, Gr&#246;nholm drove in the dip, hit the rock and busted the oil reservoir. Then Loeb drove the exact same way in the same dip - and continued unharmed. :ouch:
 
Maybe it's not him that is very luck (but you can't deny he is fast AND consistent, almos never makes a mistake). It's the others who are not lucky.
When it's Petter charging, then blam, something happens. Lately it's been Marcus and blam, and twice!

Also, the Xsara is an amazing car (my preferred is the Focus and the Subie).

No I can't, he's a great driver but he seems to get the victories a bit too easy as the others run into trouble. It would be great to see him battling for the victory and then taking it, rather than getting the lead because the others have bad luck.

(and I'm afraid that he takes Tommi Mäkinen's record of four championships in a row :p)
