Hey there!

Following KooL_Breeze_88_ ´s thread, I also think that PD has forgotten about Sport Utility Vehicles. We only have like a few that are only concepts or not SUV´s at all. Lets see:
Range Rover Stormer (An old concept)
Pontiac Vibe (Its more like a crossover, and its not even a 4WD car)
Toyota Voltz (The same as above. Its even the same car!)
Mazda MX Cross Sport (Another concept. Why not the real one? The CX-7)
Mitsubishi Airtrek (A Lancer croossover)
Infiniti FX (Yet another old concept. Why not the real FX?)
Pajero Rally Raid 80´s (The only real SUV)

I don´t know if I missed one, but the truth is that PD has alot of licences that they could´ve take advantage of. Like:

Ruf Dakara
BMW X5, X3
Land Rover Defender, Ninety, Range Rover, L3
Mercedes Benz ML, G or GL
Toyota Land Cruiser, FJ, Four Runner, the new FJ Cruiser
Nissan the old Pathfinder, Patrol, Armada
Ford Explorer, Expedition or Excursion
Chevy Suburban or Tahoe
Infiniti FX
Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero, Pajero Evolution Street version
Isuzu Rodeo(Honda Passport) or Trooper
Volvo XC90
or even the Lamborghini LM002! What a miss by PD!

Not to mention others...

You forgot the Audi Pikes Peak Concept (why not the real Q7 or Q5) and the other pajero rally car:tup:
It's sad because I love SUV's:)
 
Agreed, you do kinda wonder if they were going to explore SUVs more, it seems a little half-hearted. Pretty comprehensive list too, the only omission I could think of is the Audi Quattro Pikes Peak which I really thought was gonna be the 80s car in the yellow and white livery, but it's a pretty plain SUV :grumpy:

I just bought the Pajero, but i'm really not sure why. I guess I hope it will perform well on rally courses but then I thought that with the Land Rover in GT4 and was very wrong...
 
The Vibe and Voltz are hatchbacks, not SUVs.

HuskyGT did suggest the LM002, nice pic though! And maybe the Cheetah prototype too? And that tuned Land Rover Defender that was in Top Gear...and and...
 
Speaking of tough SUV´s like the Rambo Lambo, its strange that even Japanese SUV´s were forgoten. Like:

other than the BMW Ms, the MB AMGs, Cayenne Turbo, I don't see a reason why I would wanna litter the game with fat ass useless SUVs, that is of course there are some soccer dads and/or moms playing GT5 with the urge to race....:D
I don't mind PD including racing versions though, maybe like the range rover based Bower for rally stages.
 
The vibe and the voltz arent really SUV's, they aren't even really crossovers.

In Canada, the Pontiac Vibe and the Toyota Matrix (North American name for the Voltz) are considered as compacts.

They are about as large as an Impreza Hatchback.


I have to say though that I dont think we need the huge unsporty SUV's that are the Tahoe, the Expedition and other similar SUV's.
They are simply large, slow and heavy.

Although it would be nice to have stuff, like the FX, the X5 or the Dakara. Would give us a different category of cars to play with.

exactly also include a jeep wrangler just for the fun, Hey they have a schwimmawagon or what ever its called and the other 2 volkswagons

The FX concept is in the game so is the Rang rover
