I have recently encountered a problem with the GTP Android App. As you will be aware the app saves images directly to the SD card. But, if you have 99 or more images on the SD card the app will either not save the image or the app will freeze meaning I need to remove the battery. If you have any suggestions then please say. Thanks!

What version of Android are you using, and on what type of device? Can anyone else re-create this issue? I don't have one on hand at the moment to test for this problem.

Using a Motorola Defy on Android 2.2.2 (latest for this phone I believe)

The most obvious (and slightly troll) response would be to tell you to delete some pictures, but since you have posted here, I will assume that you dont want to do that.
I dont know whether it would work, but you could try downloading a file manager/explorer program from the market (there are good free ones), and putting some images in a different folder, so that the default one is smaller than 99 images.

Can anyone else confirm that images are cannot be saved to external memory cards with the app if that card contains more than 99 files?

As far as I can work out, images on my phone (HTC Aria) save to the SD by default, and I just managed to download a pic from the app. I have well over 100 images on the SD card, mostly transferred by USB if that makes any difference though.

I've been having issues with images showing up, as well. Both the "new post" folder icon:

and avatars/images, but not all of them:

If I go into Settings and clear the image cache, then everything loads correctly.

The problem being that I need to clear the cache every time I open the app.

Do you know where the default image cache is for the Andriod app, Jordan, so I can check out this 99 images problem?
