Even though I use android, I would not like the app to go to android because of this

If they made an Android version it would probably just send all your cars to Chinese hackers and fill your garage with viruses instead.

(Sorry, someone had to say it. I'll show myself out.)

You know, when I think about it, they should have simply created a PDF. Then Apple people, Droid people, Linux people, and PC people could have downloaded it

Which conniving moron at Sony PDI chose this avenue?

If I recall, Sony makes the Xperia tablet line. Those are Android tablets.

...And also for Windows, they had the Vaio line (now discontinued)

Like xiando said, PD could easily make this e-book app available on Android and Windows, and then more people would be able to download it. Should be no problem to convert a Apple e-book to a Android E-Book format or PDF file (for any system normally incompatible for e-books, like Windows or Linux).

Though some sources have said an Android version is coming soon, GT6's website claims "There is currently no plans to release an Android version of the app". It's tough to say if PD changed their mind and told another source without editing their website.

If they are not making an Android version, they should. Besides, more people have Android tablets than iPads or Windows Tablets, as most Android Tablets are cheaper than Windows Tablets or iPads (yet Sony's Xperia and Viao models are equally or more expensive than a iPad).

Thanks for the vote of confidence... Thing that bugs me, is now that I've seen the content, it's very apparent that there isn't even any need for an "E-book" to deliver the content. It could as easily (or even more easily) been published as a PDF, allowing almost anyone to view it on any device, be it mobile or desktop.
