Just wondered what the 20 cars were like in the AE of GT6. I did contemplate buying it but ended up not buying GT6 until a couple of weeks ago. Did anyone buy the AE and then feel disappointed with what they got for the extra money?

Please let's not have any I was disappointed with GT6 full stop answers, I'm specifically asking about the "exclusive" extra content. :)

I got the precision pack as a gif and I was very happy with it.I wasn't disapointed at all.I got what I want.;)

I have the Anniversary Edition. But I didn't receive the precision pack as I didn't preorder it. How can I get the precision pack to complete my collection of 25 cars? Any idea?

I got the Anniversary Edition (AE), and I would say that it was worth the extra money +£15 I think. The AE cars are a lot more fun to drive for the first set of A-Spec challenges rather than the Fit that we are all forced to buy. The extra money at the beginning was a huge advantage as well being able to spend some money on tuning or splurging for a more exotic car that would take who knows how long grinding. And the paints were pretty nice to see too.👍

The AE cars save you a lot of money when you start the game. You dont have to buy for all the races the required cars...
Only the NASCAR... but over 90% of game you have the cars needed to race and win with the AE pack

Other than e-bay I don't know.I was just lucky when GTP_ENERGIYA gifted the codes for GTplanet users. :gtpflag:

I just found out the Huayra is the only one that allows you to change wheels. Anyone else find another?

Thanks for the replies everyone, sounds like maybe I should have pre ordered. Oh well, too late now, don't suppose anyone has a spare code laying around lol.

The cars are worth while. I got mine at a Gamestop. It's faintly possible that there's a store or two with a copy in stock.

If I were you, I'd get on the phone to Gamestop stores. The one at Solomon Pond Mall in Marlborough Massachusetts had five more copies left, but that was some weeks ago.

Otherwise, you could get a code off eBay, no doubt for a premium price. Had I been a smart trader, I would probably have snapped up the last five copies!

I take the Quattro to Matterhorn and the Eiger all the time ... it's so much fun ....
The other legends I love too GT40, Stratos, Lotus Europa ... use them stock ... great!

On the faster tracks e.g. SPA or Lemans ... the R18 and the HSV

All are great cars ... really worth the money ....

I brought a 15th Anniversary Edition from my local EB Games store today. There's probably a couple of copies still there and I can't see them going anywhere soon.

It was worth it for me personally as I really like the 15th anniversary livery. It's simple and understated yet looks futuristic at the same time. The R18 looks brilliant.

Im not actually disappointed on the AE version I got, but it does have a downside - I got most of the cars i wanted in the game and they are such a good cars that one can quite easily fly through the "career" or "aspec" races. The game is just too easy with the AE cars. Not much to look forward to.. :guilty:

Atleast i was able to make things little more challenging by wasting my first 20mil i got from all the one time special events in buying a 250 GTO. :dunce: which is worth every penny.. :sly:

I had the "Stealth" edition cars with GT5 this made GT5 career not shorter or easier ...
So there must be something wrong with difficulty in GT6 don't you agree?
In other words ... please don't blame this on the 15th AE cars ....

I tried to be a bit amusing there buddy.. ;)

But truth to be told I really think not having the AE cars would have required more grinding (of which some masochistic part of me likes), and would have made me play more of the game. Got bored too quickly as I wasnt required to strive for the cars i wanted (quattro S1 above else)..

ps. I also have a gut feeling GT5 had more strict car choices in A-Spec

Im glad I got it. The aussie AE version boasts 25 odd cars (I think), some people may say its a ripoff at $115 but if I had got the standard version Id only be on EBay or somewhere hunting for the codes. Plus it gives you a good head start in the game & I also recived $1mill in game credits.

Why do you need to buy a Nascar???
Just get all stars for IB, and get a Nascar for free!

I got 20 free cars, 1 million free credits and some paint chips which was prety cool since I wanted to get through the early stages of the game as quick as possible, rather than grinding excessively to get to the harder races.

You can use the codes twice so if any1 hasn't used theirs twice please let me know.

This seems to be not true. Upon reading your post here, I decided to try an experiment. I gave my daughter my code that I only used once and had her try it...no go. I then gave it to a friend of mine and the same thing. So, I'm not sure where you got this idea from, but just like I thought before I even tried it, you can't use a code more than once....giving a code used once to a different person. :)

You can get the same DLC on any accounts on the same PS3 I think. My girlfriend has an account on my PS3 and she likes having the DLC cars so she doesn't have to buy any. She likes racing but doesn't know much about cars so the AE cars suit her fine.

You could give me the spare code you have. I'm curious if that would work.........#notevenanicetryisit?

I don't have a spare code and you completely missed my point. The person I quoted seems to think you can use the same code twice...you can't, not from what I have seen anyway. Nowhere in my post did I say that I have a spare code.

I thought you said you had a spare one, and planned a give away. In a different post a while back. I got your point plain as day. I was making an attempt at humor.

Ahh, you know what, I completely forgot about that code. :dunce: I ended up getting busy and forgot all about that. I probably still do have the code somewhere, I'll see if I can dig it up and maybe do something a bit later. My apologies as I truly forgot all about doing that. :boggled:

I wonder if that would work on my PS3......#stillnotaanicetry.
