Annoyed with B-spec

I did not like B-spec much, but when I realized I could not afford a car for gran turismo allstars and other racingcar demanding events, I chose to level my Bspec to get maybe a better prizecar, or more money.

At the start I gave him OP cars, and he won all. But now I am stuck at pickup-truck daytona. He has a pickup with 625bhp and the opponents have max 381 bhp. Yet other drivers pass him in over 260kmh. And, the short time he was in the lead, he started braking suddenly on both the straights and in the corners.. where I do not have to break at all driving with the same car. I made sure he was fully rested and also to keep he's "mood" in the middle +.

I have ended up spending over 250 000 making cars for him to drive now.. getting tired of this...

Also having problems with the last two nostalgic races. Yet he has 650bhp vs 350 - 420 bhp.. He does not stand a chanse, and will not pass them on the straigts.. When I say overtake, he usualy gets overtaken himself..
 
up the top speed in the trans setting to around 180 and he will pull far enough ahead on the straights that the others won't catch up if he uses his brakes.
 
Don't mention B-Spec on Daytona... :grumpy: I swear I was having no problems with my game-developer-turned-race-driver H.Kojima until I let him lose on a simple oval track. I was sitting there yelling while he's slamming on his brakes at the start/finish line every lap! haha my gosh! He's level 10, he HAS to get better at this right?? :indiff:
 
After i upped the Horsepower,Added a Racing transmission and reduced the weight i had no trouble at all with this race.

At first i was having the same trouble as you guys had,but what i did was i kept telling my driver to up his pace.He stayed in the red the whole race and pretty much blew away the other trucks.

I guess he was driving angry :lol:

I'd like to know why anyone would want to sit and watch a horrible AI driver compete for hundreds of hours to get to level 40! Every time I tell my guy to pass when there's clearly room and he has the speed, he slows down to 10 mph and falls in line with all the other ridiculously slow AIs. I got so frustrated I was afraid I would throw my controller. :mad:

XD, yeah man, I'm stuck with the Vitz race in Beginner league, what a pain in the ass that is. I gave him a new car, more HP, weith reduction, everything, yet he is unable to win, he is not even close ti winning and does the same mistakes EVERY TIME!
 
I'm having the same problem with that race but my truck has less hp but is still quite faster than the stock trucks. Thanks for saving me money I would have spent on more parts...

I agree it really sucks pouring wads of cash into cars just so the B-spec driver can win. My highest driver is class 8 and still needs extremely over powered cars to win events :indiff:

I still like B-spec though, it's great for taking a break from this addicting game while still getting paid.
 
The tranny is set to higher speed than normal. I tested the car myself to get the right topspeed for the track. It has also got full weight reduction, suspention and all hp mods.. :nervous:
 
Oh my god!!! You cant even pass a car in 5th place in raintracks! And he keeps breaking in the most retarded places! The AI in this game is shot ****!
 
My B spec drive is an idiot, if he doesnt drive like my grandad he crashes every where....

Its a shame I carnt pull him to one side and have quiet word lol

I had to wait til my driver matured to lvl 15ish...He would brake on the tri-oval for no reason and go horribly slow on the corners.

I used the exact same truck at lvl 15, and now he goes full-throttle through the entire track...I guess they just need to get better at driving...
 
lvl 22 with 300BHP more in american championship, couldnt drive daytona, kept breaking to 200km/h no mater what setup, AI in this game is awful.
 
I gave my Level 3 or 4 guy my 770bhp Murcielago, and after a couple laps his physical and mental strength were both at 0 and he started to drive like he was on crack! I told him pace down 5 times in a row, and he was in the blue, but he was still spinning out continuously, like around one corner, then sliding across the track and hitting a wall, then spinning out in the grass, flying across to the other side of the track into the wall!! It was funny as hell.

I would probably do the same in a 770bhp Murcielago :dunce:
 
What consistantly pisses me off with Bspec is the fact that other AI won't take crap when trying to overtake, they correct and pass anyways, but My AI will always Slow down to let the person on the outside take the inside of the corner.
So dumb... So Dumb.
 
It seems to depend quite heavily on how you train them as well. My first driver I kept sending out in overpowered cars and while he is fast, he has a lack of mental power and physical strength. The second Driver I kept entering into the roadster NR-A race and he now has more mental strength than driver one. I put this down to the fact he had to battle hard in his first few races and keep driving even when his mental and physical strength were totally gone. He is now my prefered driver cause he gets the job done in the same car that I used for the events
 
i just hate that there are champions ships that force standards on you. all i can see is the dodge to buy. i think if i was able to get the x runner i could win the dang daytona race. it is very disharting becase i have already DUMPPED way to much into the truck i have everything in it :(

This is not the case however, my driver has pretty much the same amount of stats for everything so far, as i kept him trained fairly well, when cornering and breakingi s at 80% in total, why does he drive so poorly? And why does my lvl 15 with 40% cornering & breaking sometimes driver -better-? Meh..
