My router is acting up again. I have trouble galore with signing into anything and rebooting the router isn't helping. I can download fine and work normally once I'm signed into whatever. This is happening on both wired and wireless devices.
It turned out to be just my ISP had an outage in the are, explaining why the weird mixture of DNS problems yet still being able the access to Internet in some circumstances. It's all fine now.
