Annoying Noise!

Am I the only one hearing a little grinding sound every 10 seconds in GT5 or is it my system or something? It's while racing in any car on any track, music on or off and in the main menu. But not in any other game I play. It just sounds like a few second grind or rattle. Actually thought it was coming from the car. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't heard anything like that but are you sure it's not your PS3? My buddies PS3 was making an odd grinding noise every once in a while and he had to get a new one after having it for like 6 years.
 
Could be the PS3 reading from the blu ray disc. Is your GT5 installed on your HDD?

Cool story too bad the PS3 was released in november 2006 (Japan) and May 2007 rest of the world....

November 2006 in the US. My butt stood out in the cold hoping to buy 2 and sell one on ebay. Came home with a Wii instead:tdown:

WOW! I thought it was my system. I can't hear it through the TV speakers, but I can hear it through the home theater. When your near top speed on a straight is when I've been hearing it. It has only started recently, strange and annoying. You're not Crazy.:confused:
 
Grinding? I don't know about grinding, but I do hear an odd sound every 10 seconds when driving. It happens with a specific song for me.
 
It stopped... don't know why. It did it even after reset but now I don't hear it. It was definitely a game sound, not from the system itself. It actually seemed like it got worse the louder the music/engine sounds were. Hopefully it doesn't come back.
