Is anyone else annoyed by the fact that even though you turn off both TCS & ASM you do not fully control the direction that the front wheels face all the time as in when you for some unexplainable reason start to spin out  the game takes over control of my steering and centers the steering i say if i spin out and i want my steering centered i will just let go of the analog stick or D-pad .Small things like this bug the hell out of me and IMO really detract from the simulation nature of the gameplay.:irked:

If I get what you're trying to say, it sounds normal. In a real car, when you're countersteering and you let go of the wheel, it will countersteer more.

I Really dont think its the controller try cruising along Drifting some corners in the view with the camera outside the car preferably in a FR car and just power over on a corner counter steer for a bit but then go to full lock in opposite direction so you spin out and do say 2-3 out of control spins, make sure you hold your steering in one direction and watch your front wheels they wont stay on the full lock of your choice the game takes over control and centers the steering !! can someone PLZ confirm this ?

sounds like it should be this way but... if not check fi u have driving assistance on.. theres liek 4 modes... I think it should be on simulation

I will check that but i thought those driving assistance modes were just for the Lucky peeps who have got steeering wheels and pedals!!

If that's really happening, it's probably due to the speed sensitive steering. The wheels don't turn to the max when you turn while going straight. It's kind of odd, since GT2 is a bit more realistic in this area. When you use sim tires and hit the brakes in high speed and turn, the car will go straight, but the fron wheels still turn. This has actually happened to me once... we trashed a car that way.

Oh, so you don't use the wheel? Don't know what to say then. I was going to suggest not using the Simulation steering mode (it severely restricts steering travel at speed).

Ok so im still not crystal on this one so steering assist modes apply to all controllers. if so is simulation the best one to go for .(Kewl more settings i can see lap times droping already)
