If you've been following the photography thread and Syntax Error's similar thread you'll see that Jordan has generously offered the calendar's photographers one-year Premium memberships.

I was going to use this to top up my own premo but according to Jordan I've got a lifetime membership, so either when Joey bought me a premo last Christmas he got me lifetime or I've had another mysterious benefactor since then, but either way, many, many thanks!

What this does mean is that my one-year premo offer is up for grabs. Since I have no imagination I'm going to make exactly the same offer as Syntax, which is that the premo will go to the first person who can provide me proof of purchase for the 2010 GTP Automotive Calendar.

So if you've missed Syntax's offer, PM me and the first one to do so with proof of purchase will get the premo and I'll send Jordan another message to that effect.

Remember - your purchase will go towards helping people with Alzheimer's, so it'll be very worthwhile!

So... GO!

Nicely played HFS. 👍

I'm actually a tad surprised that I have not yet received a pm from anyone regarding the offer. I thought it was pretty generous.

You got lifetime, I think that was the only way money was donated to charity. Ever since my grandpa was diagnosed with Alzheimer I have no problem supporting the cause.

Oh and I'll be buying a calendar as soon as my new debit cards arrive in the mail (should be early next week). I've had lifetime for years though.

I'm really surprised no one has jumped on this yet.

If we cant get our parents to buy a premo what makes you think we can buy a calendar? Maybe some of the non premos with credit cards can do this.

Thanks for the lifetime premo Joey, was really surprised when Jordan informed me of such. It's a really generous gesture both to me and the charity 👍

You'll have to convince your parents that the calendar is donating to a worthwhile cause. None of the contributors, nor GTP itself, are making any money from the calendar. Redbubble get some for making them, and the Alzheimer's charity get the rest. For that, you're getting images that you won't find published anywhere else, and into the bargain you'll get a year's premo. Call it a 2-for-1...

Still nobody? I presume Syntax has had no luck either :indiff:

If I don't get a response by the end of Sunday (say... 6pm GMT) then I'm just going to pick someone myself.

I still think it's a good deal though - premium and a calendar, and you're helping a charity...

HFS: SHEEP! :p

Legendary724: Do your parents buy stuff off the net? Because if not, they need to learn up with PayPal and they'll see net shopping is as safe as can be. If they are not buying it because of what it is - they may not buy premo because maybe they think a subscription to an internet forum for $20 is a waste of money for a 14 year old that should spend more time getting a tan and chatting up girls as well as doing well at school and socialising. I know if I asked my parents they'd tell me to jog on. In which case a calendar (aka: a physical entity) and a donation to charity may be more to their liking. Of course I don't know your parents, so I can't say much more. 👍

----------------------------------

I'm really suprised these offers haven't been snapped by some members - but maybe its because the free premos have all been given to those who really want it and now only the members who might get it one day remain. I'm worried this is a communal, subliminal comment on our calendar .

Yeah, not to sound like a dick but I agree with Legendary. Not that it's not a good offer for someone who can afford it, I'd glady do it if I had the money, but I can barely afford to buy cigarettes let alone a calender.

Good luck finding someone, I might get a 1 year subscription for Christmas so if the offer still stands by christmas day I'll see if my parents will spend the extra $5 for the calender.

EDIT: Spoke too soon, I talked to my mom and she said she'd get me it as an early christmas present, schweet

They do shop on the internet, Ebay is awesome. So is some other stuff, internet banking or whatever but they dont think spending money on a forum is worth my time and money. I do have a tan, I have turned halfway between black and white since I moved to Queensland 7 years ago. I do VERY well at school and I do socialise. GTplanet is just something I do at home when I am bored. It just happens to be that I am bored quite a bit. Unfortunately I can not take up on this offer and that is all there is to it.

Thanks for the PM, I'm pleased to confirm that you'll be getting a Premium subscription, as well as the calendar for Christmas :) I've just PM'd Jordan this minute. Big thanks, hope you enjoy both 👍

Unfortunately no. I closed my offer two days ago and have decided to give my premo subscription to a particular no premo that I think deserves it. I'm just waiting on a pm response confirmation from Jordan that it has been done.

Shame, it would have been nice to give it to someone for purchasing the calendar. At least you had some luck with it 👍

Glad I could help out a good cause, plus the calender is pretty awesome too.

Thanks man 👍

0.o. I wonder who that is :dunce:.

Nice, your premiumness looks cool. Did the calendar get sent to you already .

Cool, well deserved member although I do not see much of him. I probably hang around a different part of the forum 👍.

His photography skills put me to shame....but then most people's do :p.

Nah - interesting choice for sure, but yeah, I can't think of a single reason not to give him premium. 👍
