Another Lexus Thread...

I decided it would probably be a better idea to start a new thread instead of change the topic of the old one. The cd player in the SC went out. I checked both fuses and they are good. I did come across one thing that struck me weird. When I took out the 12 disc holder one of the CDs is missing. Apparently it is stuck in the cd player and maybe this is my problem? Is this a normal Lexus thing with an easy fix (crosses fingers)? I don't know what to make of this. Everything on the player lights up fine but when I press the CD button in the car nothing happens. Any advice?

I would probably take it to the dealer and get it checked out. I dunno how old/new your SCXXX is, but it would normally be covered under warranty if your radio needs replacement.

Personally, I've never had it happen in any of my (or my familie's) cars. The CD player itself may be shot, not the whole radio... I'm not an audio expert, and I am even less knowlegeable about Toyota/Lexus products (despite the fact that my Mother owns one).
