Another modchip question

I bought this modchip about 1-2 months ago. http://www.consolesource.com/playstation2/p2-mgc-ns7.htm I cant get it to work right. I asked people at the place I got it from but they gave me no answers. I need to know what I should do cuz the cds that came with the modchip arent helping any.

I had one VERY similar to that, however I had a V4. You have a Gameshark right? How do you boot games? I just got a pre Mod with a Magic 2 and directly boots ALL games CDR, DVDR, and Imports, GTC here I come!!!!

I dont have a gameshark2. It came with those Swap Magic cds and I was told that this is how to boot it: "When it says to insert disk, press and hold the eject button until it opens. You will have 5 seconds to switch the disks before it closes. Wait 30 seconds, then press x."

Yeah, booting is right, but you may want to try a Gameshark. They may be better. If you hold the button, does the tray open faster and does the light turn orange? If so, you have it installed right.

Right, bad news. The No Solder chip will NOT play imports that are origional. Since you own the origional copy, get someone with a DVD burner to burn it onto a DVDR and then you can play it. To play imports, you will need a (very hard to install) Magic, or Messiah chip. Check ps2newz.net and they will have all your questions on chips and stuff. This is the same prob. I had. It sucks, but it itll get better!!!!!
