my replay with an rx7 at midfield II :dopey:

its been cut a little short and im not sure why or how to fix it but oh well its just a straight away to the finish line. sorry about the quality but im on a 56k and it took about 15 mins to upload so :ouch:

anyway let me know what you think and some tips on getting better would be nice too, thanks.

Try to be more sensitive with the throttle, don't be shy to use the handbrake when you need to quickly flick the car.... other than that you just have to learn where to brake and what line you have you take ;-)

Your technique is pretty good. It's just your lines that need work. like on the last big one, slow down a bit and take a deeper line. that'll set you up for a nice smooth exit.

You did take that stupid right after the tunnel very well though. Nice job.

15 minutes is nothing... My latest vid took me an hour to upload, and I'm on broadband..... Quality is very important....

;)

Swift : I hate that banked hairpin...but it looks beautiful if executed correctly...
Rx7Ownz : What is sugoi? (I'm guessing excellent?) :dunce:

That's actually my best corner to drift now. You just have to practice to learn the sweet spots of every corner. Because the pitch and incline of the road makes a difference in how you need to control the car in order to get a nice smooth drift.

Like that last dogleg left on Trial mountain I, if you go to far outside, you're pretty much destined to spin. But if you keep it a bit closer, you can flow right through. Of course, it took me forever to figure that out. I thought I just had no skill.....or maybe that still the problem! :dopey:

i thought this thread dropped to the second or thid page woohoo.

you might need to ellaborate on that i have no idea what you're talking about, do you mean slow down and drift along the out side of the corner or something?
