I have an ASUS A7N8X-E Dlx with a Silicon Image SiL3112A RAID controller integrated into the motherboard. Just recently, my computer stopped recognizing my RAID 0 array. I tried SeaTools and it can't see the HDDs. I took both drives out of the case and ran them away from the computer and they are both spinning and don't sound any different. Is it the RAID contoller that died? I haven't yet gotten a chance to test out the Hard Drives in another computer, as no other computers in my house have SATA. I have to wait until I can use my friend's computer.

If it is dead, should I RMA the entire motherboard? Or should I just buy a PCI Raid Controller?

Are they native SATA drives or are they on PATA --> SATA adapters?
The SATA controller is built into the motherboard, so I guess they're native...

These are native SATA drives. 100% SATA, none of that ATA133 crap. I do not have that adapter. They plug into the 2 motheboard SATA RAID "slots". NOT PCI, NOT IDE.
