okay maybe it's not a supra anymore.. but does anyone have more vid links to the HKS drag supra?

all i gots is this
http://highboost.com/movies/hksjza.mpg

www.hksusa.com
The HKS Drag Supra piloted by Tetsuya Kawasaki ran its fastest 1/4 mile time ever and also delivered its highest trap speed at the NHRA Sport Compact Series Drag Race held at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ.

The Supra during shake-downs ran a 7.296 ET with a trap speed of 166.95 MPH. With a good feel for track conditions the HKS crew decided to go for it all and Kawasaki delivered a 6.956 ET at 199.37 MPH, and then backed it up with a tremendous pass running 6.893 at 193.13 MPH. The HKS Drag Supra's run of 6.893 eclipsed its previous best 1/4 mile ET of 7.277 posted at Sendai Highland Drag Raceway, Japan.

the vid posted is a little old.
MUST HAVE MORE!

Supras are not the be all end all of cars. There's a reason theyve been out of production for several years.

Most likely because of how expensive they were. And how little profit Toyota made off of them.

Enlighten us.

If im correct Toyota is going to bring back the Toyota Supra or something like it.. maybe not now but later on probably. Supra was a very sucessful car, from the oldest gen supra to the latest (1998 model) Supra been a great car and nothing toyota made has replace the name of the Toyota Supra until now? Maybe later Toyota will make a supra will high enough to compete with cars like Z06 and GT3. Nissan is bringing back their famous "GT-R". Honda is also coming with a NSX.. the HSC concept will most likely be in 2005-2006 the new Honda NSX. Mazda also have rumors in their RX7 possiblily around 300hp. Mitsubishi just like other japanese manufactors are jumping on the wagon in making high power car, with its new 3000gt (GTO) rumors.

Most of these rumors will probably make into production. As of right now those are only rumors and concepts maybe in a few years Japanese manufactor will have enough power to compete with their European/American counterparts.

Compete? I think they've surpassed. Maybe not straight from the factory, but when modded correctly theres alot more Japanese cars that boast alot beter preformence..

I totally agree that when modified correctly it will be better that is why i like Japanese sport car more, but straight from factory its not much a competition. With the agreement at 280 they couldnt make a car with around 450hp stock right? Anyways even though they have surpass the agreement all the time such with cars like GT-R, Supra, GTO, Evo, STi, NSX, ETc... all have more than 280hp when dynoed. We will just have to wait for the higher power japanese car in stock form later on. When modification goes, What other car can you go from 320-328hp with pc chip and exhaust, intake, and other minor bolt ons... get you to around 450hp nothing but the GT-R ;).

And the MKIV Supra, and the Z32 300ZX, and the 3k VR-4/GTO...

The GT-R was restricted with some kind of pc chip to 320 so when you take that off or replace it with a new pc chip it should have major power i dont think the supra is like that. I mean with minor bolt on yes.. but the GT-R i heard with only PC chip, exhaust, and air intake have around 450hp.

I doubt that. If you could make 450bhp from just that, magazines wouldnt make such a huge deal out of 500bhp GT-R's. Then again, magazines make a huge deal out of Saxo's on 24's..Nevermind.
