As the title suggest I am lookingfor advise on ugrading my wheel wondered what the collective advise would be.
I currently used a Logitec Drivingforce Wireless, no peddles, qnd am looking for a reasonably priced upgrade.

Options seem to be:

Dfgt
G25
G27
Fanatec CSR, with CSR Peddles
Fanatec CSr, with clubsport V1 peddles.

I probably get them 2nd hand from Fleabay, so any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

My advice is to buy new with warranty, and with that in mind get whatever your wallet can manage to get you.
If you can manage a belt driven solution would be better than a gear driven one. However, it is more expensive. I wouldn't get a DFGT. It's good but seriously lacks feedback (in my opinion from a GT6 rig in the local shop).

So my advice get a new G27 or better.
With a G27 you can always upgrade the pedals with better springs or even a perfect pedal hydraulic brake solution. Plus there are solutions out there to bring those pedals over to a new and better wheel if you so desire at a later point.
Also you can put aftermarket wheels on it via an adapter sold by third parties.

So yeah, a G27 is a nice modable and reliable wheel. If you have money to go better, new, try to get better.

Yes, I agree. For people looking at buying their first wheel, it can be wise to trial interest with a cheaper wheel. Since you've already done that though, I third the new and best mentality. If the G27/Fanatec Porsche style is you price limit there can be many factors determining what you'd personally prefer So, is that the limit? And what in a wheel/shifter/pedals will be most important to you?

I don't know your budget, but I can really recommend the G27...

I think there are T500RS with pedals for about 350 € out there, which is less than a 100 more what a G27 would cost.

The G27 is my first wheel and the only whel I ever touched, but I can tell you it is great fun.

However, if you look around in some forums, everybody will tell you that the T500 is better, so I guess this is the case :)

Driving Force GT and G27 are both real nice wheels in their price ranges, you won't go wrong either way. I got my (former) G27 back when they were $300 and never felt once like I didn't get my money's worth. I have a T500RS now, and sure it's better, but I don't think it's worth twice (almost 3 times now that G27s are cheaper) what a G27 costs. G25's were discontinued at least 4 years ago, and I wouldn't buy a used one unless you know the history of it, and I have never used the Fanatec wheels so I can't really comment, except to say that if you're going to spring for one, get the Clubsport pedals, as they are said to be fantastic.

I think currently, of the posted wheels the g27 is the best in practice. On paper the fanatec wheels are better, but I've seen far too many reports of wheels crapping out and horrible ordeals with their costumer service. At $200+- USD, the G27 is very well priced as well, and isn't so much (400+) that you won't feel icky modding it. The support both from Logitech and on this and other forums for the wheel is superb, and the mods are plentiful for the day you feel like stepping it up a bit.

If you have a lot of money to spend, go for the g27. never had experience with the g25, but im guessing its good. If you are on a budget, go for the DFGT. My secondhand DFGT has lasted about 2 years. Definitely worth the $100 I paid for it.
