So, after letting my B-Spec dudes run remote races for the past however long I finally hit level 35 and got the X2010. Of course since I had never actually driven one the first thing I did was drive it online, and in that time I was able to get down to a 1:03.xxx on Nurburgring GP/F which should be enough to gold the Vettel thing if I could put down two consecutive laps.

But.

When I switched over to the offline Vettel Challenge the car suddenly seemed to be a lot stiffer, and it was pushing through the corners I was able to take so nicely before. What gives? I thought offline driving was supposed to be kinder to the cars handling?

PS - I haven't done any tuning or tweaking of any kind to the X2010 I got before, so it was on the original stock settings used in the challenge

Not just that, it's more to do with the fact that the Vettel challenge car is differently set up to an X2010 you may have in your garage.

I found there was no point practicing in TT or Practice mode with my own car because of this.
