Hello GTPlanet,
I recently bought the Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 and as I was messing around at Monaco, I tried doing handbrake turns and I noticed all wheels stopped instead of just the rear is this normal?

I've read about how this car has smart four wheel systems would that mean that this would be the answer to my question

I have not much car knowledge I might add in case this is a common thing.

This is the car below.

It might have a transmission brake rather than a traditional handbrake.
Instead of activating the rear brakes when the lever is pulled the output shaft of the transmission (the bit that goes to the differential/wheels) is locked which will stop the drive wheels from rotating. In a RWD this would lock the front wheels, in an FF this would lock the front, in a 4wd all the wheels lock.

I've not noticed this happening on a car before but I will give it a look 👍

If torque dist. is 50/50, all wheels will lock.
Just tested this and you are correct 👍
In unmodified form the handbrake will only lock the rear wheels, if a torque distributing centre differential is fitted and set to 50/50 then all 4 wheels will lock when the handbrake is applied
