Anticipated Titles of 2007

So, we all know the PS3 is going to have a blockbuster first year. Here's the question. What are you looking forward to?

Here's a list of big name titles (and highly anticipated titles) coming out in 2007.

Metal Gear Solid 4
Devil May Cry 4
MotorStorm
Ratchet and Clank
Burnout 5
Army of 2
Dark Sector
Heavenly Sword
Virtua Fighter 5
Tekken 6
Fatal Inertia (personally I think it'll be a sleeper hit)
NBA Street: Homecourt
GT: HD Concept (Update hopefully)
 
Ahh, good call. I think Warhawk actually may have gotten pushed back, but Lair, as of now, is still scheduled for a Q2 release I think.
 
When I first heard Warhawk was being released on the PS3 I was completely stoked until I saw a preview of some actual game play. The original game that I fell in love with was completely revamped. There is already a Battlefield 1942/2020, do we need another one? For a strict flying arcade style genre, it was top on my list. I was disappointed to see the cheesy third person squads on the ground with week explosions and character mapping. Hopefully the finished product will be much more refined. I really wish I could see FFXIII in that list, but it looks like we might see it in 2008.

When I first heard Warhawk was being released on the PS3 I was completely stoked until I saw a preview of some actual game play. The original game that I fell in love with was completely revamped. Its not the core gameplay, the ground missions are more like added for multiplayer and then thrown into single player to add depth. I like the idea other wise its just Crismson Skies. But 32 players and air and ground combat seem like a nice added feature for multiplayer. Unlike Battlefield games it should a have a plot and true single player. From what I've seen and read we have only seem one area thats supposed to be just %5 of the game world which is to be one large world. Many of the animations and textures were not right but look how far MotorStorm has come since E3 and even TGS. I',m just saying dont lose faith too soon :)

I'm really liking the new gameplay vids of Armored Core 4. Finally they dont have a massive hardware limit with the ps1 and ps2 and they can show and do so much more.

Also there are some 30+ unknown games being made for the Playstation Network.

I certainly hope so. Warhawk is one of my #1 games of all time and flying into the mouth of the final boss Kamikaze style to win the game is one of my most memorable gaming experiences. :)
 
Do they have to be PS3 exclusive? Well, a couple on the list aren't so I'll add some.

Colin McRae Dirt
Stanglehold (perhaps)
Formula 1 2007 Championship Edition

I guess there are 20+ games I want this year split between PS3 and 360. No way can I buy them all. Thank goodness I rent most!
