Any difference in Photomode between GT5 (disc version) and GT5XL (disc v.) ?

I'm about to purchase an additional copy of GT5 and the only thing that will be used is the Photomode.
So are there any differences between the original copy and the XL copy when it comes to Photomode, or is the Photomode feature exactly the same in both (all?) versions?

Pretty sure it's the same thing in both games. XL comes with all the extra cars and such.

Was just told that Standard Cars won't work in the Photomode. That's too bad.
But you can still shoot Standards in Replay Mode though, right?

That is correct. There are two types of photomodes:

Phototravel: this is the one where you can pick where you would like to go. Places like Red Bull Hangar, Bern, etc. Standard cars cannot be taken.

Replay/race photomode: this is the one where you take pictures after you finish your race or event. You can take a picture of ANY car. The only problem again, is the Standards. It's possible to take pictures of them, but you cannot zoom in all the way on them. You will get one of these:
